• Left cold, wet and gloomy Dover. Arrived in warm, lovely and welcoming Les Libellules. We have had the most superb holiday staying in your beautifully appointed Gite.
  The pool is superb, the garden perfect and the surrounding countryside fabulous.
  Thank you Issi and Martin for a fantastic fortnight, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

• Dear Issi , Martin and Sammi, we couldn't have wanted for a warmer welcome when we arrived at your gates last Tuesday! And what a delightful surprise was your garden! An idyllic oasis of beauty and peace rested in a corner of the rustic, hill landscape of Montolieu. No Online photos could possibly do it justice! Issy's creative gardening around the pool and by the babbling river is a true feast for the eyes!
  Up the stairs and into our flat we found a lovely space decorated with taste, thoughtfulness and care, with all one could ever want in a holiday home and more.
  But the icing on the cake on our wonderful stay here was the sight, not once but twice of a Kingfisher in all its dazzling blue brilliance as it rushed over the river.
  We will certainly remember our stay here with great fondness, recommend your home to our friends with enthusiasm and hope to return for another idyllic week some time in the not too distant future!

• Peace and tranquillity prevail in this lovely village.
  Issy and Martin made us feel so welcome and were extremely helpful with suggestions for places to visit.
  Les Libellules is beautiful - in sunshine and even on the odd dull day. The sound of the river is so musical.

• 2007 has been one of the UK's worst summers, so it was a blessing to escape over here chez Martin and Issy!
  The weather has been lovely, the ambience fantastic, the scenery 'to die for' and, of course, the perfect hosts!
  We hope to come back soon and take advantage of the wonderful hiking trails - if my foot bears up!
  With such gardens, pool and hosts, how could anyone not relax here?
  The bats, kingfisher, lizards, squirrels, baby snake and Sammi all add a certain Je ne sais quoi.

  Martin and Issy couldn't have made us any more welcome.
  Beautiful Gite in beautiful surroundings. We came here "stressed out", wanting a relaxing family holiday with our 9 and 6 year olds and that's exactly what we got.
  We felt totally at home and at ease for our entire stay. Nothing has been too much trouble for Martin and Issy an the kids really didn't want to leave.
  What with the pool and the fishing in the stream they and my husband were in seventh heaven!! Total relaxation, 100% pleasure!

• This has been a wonderful, if all too short break for both of us. Martin and Issy are excellent hosts, welcoming, friendly and very helpful. they seem to think of everything.
  The Gite is very well equipped (better than our own flat!) and the garden and swimming pool are wonderful.
  It's a great base for exploring the area. If you don't mind the drive, the Pyrenees are breath-taking. "Le Petit Train Jaune", which runs from Villefranche-de-Conflent is a must.

• We left an overcast Manchester and within 2hrs arrived at sunny Carcassonne. The Stress and the routine of life vanished and we were transported to here.
  We've had a week of relaxation, a different way of living and dancing on the balcony with Frank Sinatra.

• We've had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay here. Martin and Izzy even supplied us with essentials when our bags were held up for 2 days. Thanks. Weather has been fab and the sunny pool or shade by the river has suited us both. A lovely place. I'm sure we'll be back.

• This was a last minute booking and it felt a bit strange coming to a Gite as we run 2 ourselves in the Charente for the last 4 years. As soon as we arrived though we felt very "at home" as Izzy and Martin are both so friendly and welcoming. The Gite is equipped with just about everything anyone could need and is very comfortable. We all loved the pool and our 9 year old son enjoyed watching children's BBC (he only usually gets French TV) and is now a fan of Tracy Beaker! The village is lovely - could have spent the whole week in the bookshops. We particularly enjoyed an hour in a self-drive motor boat on the Canal du Midi (from Bram) and also thought that the "Chevalier" show at the Cité de Carcassonne was really done well and perfect for children of Nathanael's age. He returned from the show with plastic sword (full sound effects) and luckily Martin is pretty good as a swordsman and can put up a good side in a duel.

• A first Gite holiday in France and very impressed. Martin and Izzy just ooze friendship and nothing is appears to be too much effort to make your holiday stay very special. My son was missing his guitar on holiday and from their "Aladdin's Cave" they were able to give him a guitar to play on (sorry about the music racket)
  When we first saw the Gite on the internet we were hooked, and although no pictures can do justice to the beautiful decor, character of the accommodation and ambience of this place, when we arrived we knew we had made the right choice. A really wonderful place for peace and tranquillity.
  The pool was a big hit with my son Warren and has been well worth the effort.
  You both deserve the very best of luck in this venture and thanks from all of us for allowing us to share the beauty of your home in this very picturesque village.

• We have had a lovely week at "Les Libellules" with you - the river, the Dragonflies, the geckos, Sammy, the countryside, the heron and the kingfisher (even though he was much too quick).
  The facilities have been excellent - everything that we could possible need!
  Izzy and Martin, you have made us feel so welcome and nothing has been too much trouble. You have made us feel like friends, as well as guests, in your lovely home.
  We have thoroughly enjoyed our visit to your region and will not hesitate to tell our family and friends about you.
