The Gîte

A deposit of 75 Euros or 50 pounds sterling is payable on booking the Apartment. This can be paid either by credit card using the "Paypal" secure system supplied by ebay our into our UK bank account quoting the reference we will give you.
This is non-refundable.

The balance is due 6 weeks prior to your stay. Again we will send you an e-mail with the payment details.

In the unfortunate event of your needing to cancel within those 6 weeks you will receive no refund except in the event that we are able to re-book.
Rest assured we will try our utmost to do so.
A deposit will be required on arrival in the sum of €210, in cash only. The deposit is broken into two parts.
- Cover for any damage to the property caused by yourselves during your stay (€150)
- Cover for the "End of Stay" cleaning (€60).
This is a normal procedure and you will be reimbursed after your stay providing you haven't broken anything and leave the property in a clean and tidy state.
The bookings are until 10:00 am of the morning of departure and from 16:00 pm on the afternoon of arrival.
You will be responsible for keeping an eye on all persons using the pool, an alarm will be in place as per French law.>
Unfortunately, due to the fact we have our own Pet on the property, we cannot accept others.
The apartment is non-smoking and we request that should you wish to smoke you do this outside on either of the balconies.
A reminder to those travelling in Europe. Ensure that your travel Insurance covers you for third party liability, especially when skiing etc.

Les Libellules provides self catering Gite style accommodation near the town of Carcassonne and is intended for parties of up to two persons wishing to enjoy a relaxing self catering break with usage of a swimming pool. The owners have contact with other self catering Gites that may or may not have a swimming pool. So if Les Libellules cannot provide you with self catering accommodation we can pass on your enquiry to other Gites that we know and can recommend, if you so wish.
